  It looks like you are trying to use failure_route 1 to get messages to
Asterisk. This is the correct approach. I have to assume the IP address
and port listed in the rewrite statement are correct. Are you sure Asterisk
is listening on this address and port? Check the binding in sip.conf.
You might also want to enable sip debug on the Asterisk console and
use ngrep on the SER box to see what messages are being passed.
