AFAIK, Digium have nothing to do with H323. It's a third party add on
module. In fact, there are two different ones. One of those is from
Jeremy McNamara of NuFone.

I know H323 support is a bitch even on x86 based Asterisk servers, so
I am not sure that it is as you put it "broken for PPC". Quite
possibly you fell into one of the many traps there are with H323
support. Try to get some help from one of the resident H323 gurus and
the chance is that it will actually work.
