Turned on Jitterbuffer as follows and still same problem. these are the
defaults in iax.conf sample.  Do i need to change somthing, more
maxbuffer, less minbuffer ... ?

jitterbuffer=yes
dropcount=2
maxjitterbuffer=500
maxexcessbuffer=80
minexcessbuffer=10
jittershrinkrate=1
