according to * CLI sip show peers
nikotel/myusername      63.214.186.6 255.255.255.255 5060 Unmonitored

however registry fails with them as well just like sipgate.de.
iptel.org registers with no problem at all. I can use sipgate.de to make
phone calls but I can not receive anyphone calls. 

I just want to make sure myside works before I start complaining to
them. To be honest my experience in Germany has not been so great with
regards to customer service (the word does not exist ). Of course I had
some exceptions, "beronet" "kamp-dsl". I do now want to talk about T-com
at all as the they simply said "why did you order on the internet you
could have called us." Yeah E-bullshit

Nevertheless the people are nice,  beer and wine are good :-)
