Looks like you might have a hardware issue.

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] Error building asterisk-0.9.0
I am trying to build asterisk-0.9.0 on 533MHz 160MB Redhat Linux 9.0
machine.
I have followed the instructions to build asterisk.
Building zaptel and libpri seemed to go well (lots of messages but nothing
that indicated an error)
However, when I do the make clean ; make install for asterisk-0.9.0 after
running for sometime I get the following:
gcc -shared -Xlinker -x -o app_senddtmf.so app_senddtmf.o
gcc -pipe -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes
-Wmissing-declarations -g -Iinclude -I../include -D_REENTRANT -D_GNU_SOURCE
-O6 -march=i686 -DZAPTEL_OPTIMIZATIONS -DASTERISK_VERSION=\"0.9.0\"
-DINSTALL_PREFIX=\"\" -DASTETCDIR=\"/etc/asterisk\"
-DASTLIBDIR=\"/usr/lib/asterisk\" -DASTVARLIBDIR=\"/var/lib/asterisk\"
-DASTVARRUNDIR=\"/var/run\" -DASTSPOOLDIR=\"/var/spool/asterisk\"
-DASTLOGDIR=\"/var/log/asterisk\"
-DASTCONFPATH=\"/etc/asterisk/asterisk.conf\"
-DASTMODDIR=\"/usr/lib/asterisk/modules\"
-DASTAGIDIR=\"/var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin\"
-DBUSYDETECT_MARTIN -DNEW_PRI_HANGUP -fPIC -c -o app_parkandannounce.o
app_parkandannounce.c
/usr/include/bits/string2.h:992: internal error: Segmentation fault
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <URL:http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/> for instructions.
make[1]: *** [app_parkandannounce.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/asterisk-0.9.0/apps'
make: *** [subdirs] Error 1
Any thoughts?
Regards,
Jim O'Brien
