Sounds like a semantics issue. On the 79x0 sip phone, the SIPDefault.cnf
file includes an entry like:
services_url: "http://host.domain.com/asterisk/services.html"
and the html/xml code at that location can display "choices", but
I wouldn't call those softkeys by any stretch. The are simply menu
choices that can be selected via scrolling up/down and pressing the
Select softkey.
I've not seen any documentation or comments from others that allow anyone
to program the softkeys across the bottom of the screen. (That might not
be the case with skinny or whatever, but we're talking sip phones here
I think. There's no apparent support in Cisco's v7.1 code)
