Yeah this combined with the earlier information did it, I think most of the
confusion stemmed from running definity release 6. Now it works though, its
too bad it can't be set on a  per trunk basis though.  Thanks very much for
the help,

I did come across a PDF explaining how to set up a cisco 3600 series gateway
with a Definity. Maybe it would help. Here is the link
