Hi Dan-
Just a quick glance at your configuration - I didn't see any problem. I
have no experience with T1's - my customers use E1. But, in a conversation
with the folks at Digium the other day, they did mention a firmware bug that
applies to T1 only - something about D channel problems. They said that a
firmware change is needed to fix.
Do you know if you have the latest firmware? If not, you might call them
directly (I know you're in Oz) - their tech support doesn't do email too
efficiently, but they're pretty good on the phone.

Subject: [Asterisk-Users] TE410P PRI T1 problem
Hello All,
I am doing the following E1 and T1 PRI tests. Two SIP phones and two
Asterisk boxes. Only one span is used in each case. See the test setup
explained below. The E1 PRI works well. The T1 PRI doesn't work; every
now and then (random time intervals) AsteriskA reports RedAlarm and
AsteriskB reports YellowAlarm. When alarms are reported the existing
calls get dropped.
Anybody has any ideas what is causing this?
SipPhoneA ----- AsteriskA(NTE) --pri-- (CPE)AsteriskB ----- SipPhoneB
The PRI link is configured as T1 for one test and as E1 for another
test. The zaptel.conf and zapata.conf for each box in each test is given
below:
AsteriskA(NTE) as T1
** zaptel.conf **
span=1,0,0,esf,b8zs
bchan=1-23
dchan=24
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us
** zapata.conf **
[channels]
context=default
switchtype=national
signalling=pri_net
group=1
channel=>1-23
AsteriskB(CPE) as T1
** zaptel.conf **
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
bchan=1-23
dchan=24
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us
** zapata.conf **
[channels]
context=default
switchtype=national
signalling=pri_cpe
group=1
channel=>1-23
AsteriskA(NTE) as E1
** zaptel.conf **
span=1,0,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=1-15
dchan=16
bchan=17-31
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us
** zapata.conf **
[channels]
context=default
switchtype=euroisdn
signalling=pri_net
group=1
channel=>1-15
AsteriskB(CPE) as E1
** zaptel.conf **
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3
bchan=1-15
dchan=16
bchan=17-31
loadzone=us
defaultzone=us
** zapata.conf **
[channels]
context=default
switchtype=euroisdn
signalling=pri_cpe

Thank you,
Dan.
