Actually you can control the volume while in call with the four way toggle
button in the center of the phone. Right for louder, left for softer. The
problem I am seeing is if I get a low audio connection, even maxing the volume
makes the call just barely audible.
Which codec are you using for the phone?
Maybe we are talking about a different phone. At this point I really wondering
if either 1) the phone doesn't like ulaw/alaw, 2) I just have a bad unit. I
asked Pulver to either give me a little more assistence in changing
settings/optimal settings or to send me a replacement to rule out bad hardware.
The phone is truly capable of being a good device. I have been amazed at the
sound quality of some of the calls. It just needs to do it reliably. I am
confident it will get worked out, but gettting impatient to get there :-).
