[Asterisk-Users] Error Logging (stops Randomly)

I am having a problem with the logger stopping at random points.  It will
then work again randomly, and then stop again.

For example I know warnings have popped up, but they do not go in the
messages file.  I see them occur on the console and they are never written
to file.  I then notice logs like these:

As you can see the last message just stopped.  The error should have
continued to say "error: Interrupted system call".

Has anyone seen this problem before?  To summarize, I can't determine what
causes the logging to start stop (I don't change anything) and restarting
* does not fix the problem.
