[Asterisk-Users] Sip transfers

On a consultative transfer, aren't you supposed to press the transfer button
after calling the other extension, instead of hanging up?

On my Polycom 600's the # sign does a blind transfer and the polycom
transfer button does a consultative transfer.

My polycom phones have a transfer button on them and it used to work,
now it puts the call on hold, you are allowed to call the other
extension and tell them the call is there, but when you hang up, the
call stays on hold, and the extension you are trying to transfer to gets
nothing.
