Well, in fact, IAX doesn't needs an ALG (application level gateway) unlike SIP, IRC or
FTP.
It uses a one normal socket, so there is no more thinks to worry about, except maybe you
will want HW that honors QoS prioritization (or better DiffServ) to make things run
smoother.
