well, firstly -- the error messages above appear on my * too, since i 
don't have caller ID available on my incoming POTS line. i'm not 100% 
sure if the X100 will also do caller ID?

you might also want to check if the "usecallerid" option is enabled in 
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf, but a quick check on the Wiki says it 
defaults to "yes" -- although this may be true only on the more recent 
versions of *...
