Fix your quoting in your mail app. 

Also check your assumptions. ac97 is a standard, not a chipset. My
Ensoniq 1371 is ac97.

Also check you bios, ac97 is sometimes tied to those AMR modem cards. 

So unless you were answering for varun, your answer just confuses the
matter.
