All Macs can handle GSM files, but not necessarily WAV49 -- QuickTime
includes a GSM decoder, and can certainly decode .MOV format files with
GSM payload. I dunno if it handles a raw GSM-encoded file with a .gsm
extension, though.
(QT does not include a GSM encoder, though).
