[Asterisk-Users] chan_sip.c max number of retries?

Hello,

got the same problem, but only with iax2 - alle clients (IAXcomm, DIAX,
Iaxphone ...) are UNMOTIORED using iax2 show peers. If I run a sip client
(SJphone) on the same machine, same configuration it becomes Status:
OK(20ms) using SIP show peers ??
I tried using different settings (as described in mailing list and wiki) in
iax.conf but nothing worked.

This means that Asterisk stoped getting responses from 211.28.255.135.=20
There are many possible reasons for this. This is the IP address of=20
your SIP client, right? If it isn't you have something seriously wrong=20
with your configuration. Some possible causes of this could be NAT,=20
Firewall, Reinvites, crashed SIP client, um..what else...network=20
problems, duplex mismatch on the ethernet segmant, packet loss, etc.

You did not find any solutions to this problem when you searched the
mailing list archives?

Your fwd account doesn't have a password? That's what this register
line is saying. Remember ALL register does is say to fwd.pulver.com
"Hi! I'm 292950 and my password is blahblahlbah and my IP address is
blah. Oh, when you send calls to me, tell me they are for extension 202"

It is TOTALLY seperate from EVERYTHING else.

I was hoping to get some help with this...

Working on setting up IAX2 between 2 Servers.

Server A
Asterisk - 0.9.0

Server B
Asterisk - .7.2

After configuring the iax.conf file on Server B. I receive the following
error message:
Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0 port 4569: Address already in use

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

iax.conf - Server B

[general]
port=3D4569

allow=3Dgsm

host=3Ddynamic
qualify=3Dyes
context=3Dlocal-tne
defaultip=3D69.132.129.9

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

iax.conf - Server A

Setup the same way... Just with different name & ip's. =20

Any ideas....
