It was probably because I emailed everyone in the company every day until
it got fixed...
My next step was to start calling executives on their cell phones.
;-)
To be fair, it took them a while to get back to my original email, but
after I emailed the CEO, they were very responsive and sent me updates
almost every day. I can't have been the only one getting those, since
they told me they were aware of the problems even before I started
bitching.
