Telnet to the phones IP address.  The password is by default cisco, but
should be the same as to unlock the phones config options under the settings
menu.  Once inside the telnet session, do "debug http".  Now press the
directories button and watch the destination address, make sure this is
correct, and look for any errors in the data that comes from the "directory"
page, it should be XML similar to the examples listed on voip-info.
