With my small experience with this phone:

Hardware changes
- 2.5MM headphone jack
- POE (12V-48V input range)
- Speakerphone as discussed previously on the list


Software
- Restrict who can access the web interface and / or phone like a simple
(simple!) firewall for net-connected phones. I feel this is very
important.
- DHCP supplied config file via tftp to aid volume installs
- CallerID text (Not Er) display, maybe CALL or similar
