They are some IAX soft phones on *NIX, but for the Windows platform just SIP
ones with some (not too many) features.
I intend to develop it just for the WIndows platform (for the moment) and to
add as many features as possible.
Windows (9x/2k/XP) is (still) the main OS for the PC platform (desktop
systems), which is the target for this little application. It heavely uses
Windows API's, in order to keep it as small and simple as possible, in order
to be able to run even on small less powerful systems.
