[Asterisk-Users] ATA beginners question

When dialing a port on my ATA-186 I get:

  == No one is available to answer at this time
 
Instead of a ringing telephone...  Both ata1-1 and ata1-2 are registered
with asterisk.
 
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the 488?
