Because I don't want to!

Do you think Asterisk isn't capable of doing either of
these?  Not even 2)?  I'm surprised, it seems to do
everything else.  I'm not giving up yet, though.

Granted it takes some pre-thought, but why not just
use the *72/*73
codes to forward when you are out of the office?
