Follow up on this, has anyone tried to get packet8 to work with
asterisk, with either success or failure?

Trying to get a VoIP DID number in my local calling area, and neither
deltathree or vonage have plans to expand into this area anytime soon,
and I've heard that Packet8 is expanding area code coverage a bit more
rapidly.
