[Asterisk-Users] compression quality of wav voicemail attachments

I found that there are three files created in the users vm directory. 
msg0003.wav 185295
msg0003.WAV 1796844
msg0003.gsm 182516

The .WAV (in capital letters) file is a lot smaller. How do I attach the 
smaller file instead of the large fully quality voicemail? Can I specify on a 
per user basis?
