Note...the more complete picture with a DSL (as an example) is....

                                                                 LAN1================={InterNAT}
Phone===FXS(PC)====LAN2=====[Asterisk]FXO===[wall]]======{Phone Company}
Phone===FXS(PC)====LAN2
IP-Phone===========LAN2
Headset===(PC)=====LAN2

...because the Asterisk box [*] can have 2 LANs and handle all of the NAT functions...
