[Asterisk-Users] FYI: ATA-286 Now supports CallerID.

I contacted Grandstream who was nice enough to forward me 1.0.4.30 firmware for the ATA-286 and it seems to have solved a few of the problems I was having with one of the largest being no CallerID.  Not sure if that firmware is up on the private grandstream tftp server or not.  The other problem I had was as you were dialing a number the dialtone did not go away until after you were done dialing and the actual call was placed.  The code has fixed that issue as well.  I am really liking the ATA-286 more and more but I have never used a Cisco product or the Sipura so I can not comment on the differences.  All I can say is, that this product works well for me and does what it promised.  Also their tech support is really good.  They may not always answer the phone but they do respond to emails quickly and usually with some bit of knowledge which is a good thing.
