This could solve the problem in the short term, but is not really
"elegant". Each time I add a server I'd have to modify quite a lot of
extensions.conf on each server.

I'm not quite familiar with IAX(2) and registration questions. Does
anybody sees any tricky problem that could arise with some kind of
auto-cascading registrations through IAX (that is, any registration,
SIP, IAX... would be forwarded on an IAX channel) ?
