yes, I use kewlstart in both zaptel and zapata conf files (fxsks (zaptel)
and fxs_ks (zapata) signalling).  In addition, I have the span definition to
the channel bank in zaptel as d4/ami.  It works fine when I place or receive
calls from outside lines to the phone devices (my phone devices off the
channel bank are defined as (fxoks (zaptel) and fxo_ks (zapata) signalling).
It does leave the channel bank lines open when a call comes from the PSTN
and it goes in transit back to the PSTN.  Asterisk writes the it hung up
both lines.  When I issue the "show channels" command to Zap/x line is
opened.  In the channel bank one or both phone lines could be left hanging.
My CVS is from 04/07/03.
