I discovered accidentally that you can just register again with the
same email address but a different user name. I thought I had a
password with illegal characters too as the iaxtel system gives me
NOTICE[4101]: File chan_iax.c, Line 3941 (socket_read): Registration of

but it must be a different problem as I tried again with an account
with no funny characters in the password.
