In fact, attempting to build against the distribution-provided libraries will appear to compile successfully, but will not operate properly. At the present time, it is *required* to use Ice from the Asterisk SCF Git repositories. Digium is working with ZeroC, the makers of Ice, to address this for future releases of Ice. <br></td></tr>
