<p>1. I seriously doubt we'll want to try to support Windows NT or even Windows 2000. But you should specifically list Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 as candidates. </p>
<p>2. On DirectX SDK... was it actually an SDK you had to install? Or just DirectX runtime support? On XP, I didn't have to do any special DirectX installs. XP, Vista and Windows 7 all have various versions of DirectX runtime support installed, as does Windows Server 2008. Did you get an indication of what component required DirectX? (Ice, boost, Ice Third Party, etc.) </p>
<p>But you know what? DirectX is disabled by default on Windows Server. Maybe you just needed to enable it? </p>
<p>3. Might want to specifically point out that bash support comes with msysgit.</p>
