<h2><a name="TestEnvironment-Overview"></a>Overview</h2>
<p>The Asterisk SCF testing environment utilizes both systems and tools designed by Digium as well as several 3rd party products. A highly automated virtualization environment using VMware vSphere Hypervisor that is coupled with Atlassian Bamboo for automation is utilized in order to facilitate the ability to test many different environments and scenarios as well as to centralize and store all the testing results for review and possible issue triage. This data that is collected from the various tools during an automated test run is checked and then those results along with network capture files, call flows, etc. are all fed back into the Bamboo job where they are then saved as artifacts for both reporting purposes as well as for possible use in subsequent test stages.</p>
