<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br></font></span></blockquote><div><br>At least for 1.6 I faced problems myself (cpu spinning or deadlocks), I stopped using them altogether since then, and from the comments mentioned by Jam, Asterisk 1.8.5 also has issues with timerfd.<br>
