As far as openr2 is concerned, you should use latest 1.3.x, it is in
maintenance mode and has been working stable for more than 2 years.
Asterisk, very much depend on what you want. In theory there should not be
any difference, but the majority of users are most likely between 1.4 and
1.6.2
