This directory /var/log/asterisk/mfxr2/span1 does not exist.

log is written according to mfcr2_logdir= defalut is span1 and files with
trace dump should be at  /var/log/asterisk/mfxr2/span1

It will help you if you can provide more details as E1 trace log
information, just needed to enable:

For your references for capture information you have to set onto
chan_dahdi.conf (mfcr2_logdir= , mfcr2_call_files= ,mfcr2_logging=all).

If you check log file recorder on mfcr2_logdir you will see if system is
processing dnis 6 or 4 digits.

incoming call from E1 only has four digits even after changing
mfcr2_max_dnis=6 from 4
