[asterisk-r2] "beep" sound in calls

Hi all,

during calls we hear a short and high pitched "beep" at regular
intervals, like 10 seconds between each "beep". 

We've already discarded IRQ problems, but we don't have another card to
rule out a card problem.

Aniway, could it be some sort of metering or billing pulse? Is it normal
to hear  it over R2?

We re using asterisk 1.4.30, OpenR2 1.3.0, Venezuelan variant, Cantv
provider.
