[asterisk-r2] Forward safety timeout

Guys

Anybody having forward safety timeouts when calling international long
distance numbers:

[Nov 17 13:33:11] ERROR[5242]: Chan 32 - Protocol error. Reason = Forward
Safety Timeout, R2 State = Seize ACK Received, MF state = Waiting Far End
Timeout, MF Group = Forward Group I, CAS = 0x0C

This is what I see whenever I try calling LDI numbers from Mexico to say...
Costa rica, using telmex or alestra....

Can these be fixed by playing without the timers on r2proto.conf?
