[asterisk-embedded] Asterisk over ARM-DSP-TSI System

Hi,

I need help porting Asterisk over an ARM based 128 port PBX.

Our system also comprises of a DSP (for DTMF/CPT/Conferencing etc..) & a TDM Switch (To switch voice path data).

Would the job of porting Asterisk only involve addition of a new channel driver (like chan_zap.c) along-with a Linux Device driver or would it involve changing the core heavily.

A reply with reference to an appropriate document or specific sources would be appreciated.
