With ICE support asterisk will fill the SIP request with alternative IPs<br>
it found out using STUN and the external IP will also be there for the<br>
other communication end to try to connect to.<br>

If you also have access to a TURN server you can configure that will<br>
make things work even better, but is not strictly required if you<br>
configure your router to forward a port range to your asterisk machine.<br>
