into asterisk? I mean full support -- voice mail, prompts, etc all in 16kHz. I
have a SIP phone that supports G.722, but it always falls back to G.711 when
talking to asterisk. It would be nice to take advantage of the full voice
quality! My cursory browsing of the source code seems to indicate that the
design may be centered around an 8kHz sample rate though -- not surprising,
given the telephony orientation.</FONT></DIV>

use G.722 over sip (3Com, Alcatel, the new Grandstream 102D), so this would be
nice to support with asterisk. So far, I'm using mine with Ser, but voicemail,
ivr, etc. would be nice!</FONT></DIV>
