<DIV>Hi all,<BR>I am new to Asterix so please help me out. <BR>- I have downloaded and compiled Asterix, and the am getting the CLI.<BR>- I want to set up a system which would be like this: the Asterix pbx on one machine, and two softphones (gnophone) on other machines. These phones can then be registered with pbx and i want to try some features on this setup.<BR>-I downloaded Gnophone but am finding problems with its comilation. It requires Iax library to be there, so i had already downloaded,compiled the iax tar available from the same site. but still gnophone is not being configured properly. <BR>Q: are there any other dependencies for it that i should have before trying to compile it?</DIV>
<DIV>- for the above setup, i dont want any sort of special hardware, ie for hardphone or for gateway card or anything else. I just want to setup the pbx on my simple linux machine and two phones and have them talk to each other thru the pbx. (for now).<BR>Q: do i need anything else like any hardware etc without which the pbx cant work or phones cant work?<BR>Q: do i need to do anything for codec support particulary?</DIV>
