[asterisk-dev] "system" telephones for asterisk

This is a development mailing list. Its purpose is to talk about
programming Asterisk itself. Not only is your question off-topic, but you
may also get more mileage in an end-user group.

Busy LEDs on the phone is not a function of the Asterisk back-end. That is
a function of the phone itself.

Have a look at Polycom (recently rebranded as "Poly"). They have a huge
selection. Some have physical line keys, some have touch-screens. All of
them are extremely customizable and programmable.

If you're thinking of receptionist-style one-touch hard-button dialing and
line blinky-lights, there are "sidecars" that you can attach to the side of
the phone with a great number of programmable buttons.

I am not affiliated with Polycom. I am just a customer that has used them
a lot and have heavily customized their configuration.
