This is probably a more appropriate question for the asterisk-users
mailing list. That being said, Asterisk crashing is never correct behavior,
so yes, its a bug. You can file an issue on the issue tracker here:
https://issues.asterisk.org/jira
Please include a properly generated backtrace of the crash. You can find
instructions on generating a proper backtrace here:

Please keep in mind that in Asterisk 1.8, ConfBridge is in extended
support, which means that development support for it primarily comes
from the Asterisk community. More information on module support states
