[asterisk-dev] Help "SMS is not working between Local SIp number"

Hello,

I am using asterisk1.6.2.4 version for SIP messaging but I am getting SIP
error 405 method not allowed with below console warning

dropped it...



I am using Windows messenger 4.7 version for SIP message. The setup is like
that I am running Asterisk in my dect and windows messenger is  running in
two machine with SIP number 1000 and 2000 respectively. Once i tried to send
message from 1000 to 2000 i got above error.  I have also tried with XLITE
but XLITE throws an error Unsupported media type.

Please let me know what are key factor I need to do to send a SMS  over SIP
number. Is it asterisk1.6.2.4 version works for SMS.

I tried with smsq but it is not working. Can i send the message through smsq
by just giving command
smsq 1000 hello 2000. Is it smsq pass message through asterisk SIP or
directly to PSTN LINE?


Please share the details how I can send the message from SIP number 1000 to
SIP number 2000.
