It's been on my wish list for a long time, but I have had no customer 
needing it or willing to pay for it yet.

I agree it needs to be done for virtual pbx hosting solutions. Otherwise,
we keep the registrations in Kamailio in most cases, so we solve it
outside of Asterisk.
