So, they update the Ubuntu version number, but they don't update the 
contents. :-)

If you are really interested in FAX, especially T.38, I would replace 
that version with the current one. app_fax has allowed for the current 
version for a long time, and uses some of the new features of the recent 
versions automatically. Its odd that Digium have produced new code which 
is less up to date than that.
