[asterisk-dev] SIP problems similar to bug #0013383

Hi,

I'm using version 1.4.24.1 with realtime SIP peers, rtcachefriends=yes, and
qualify=yes for all peers.
Occasionally I see the SIP channel go nuts with the following symptoms:

   - Lots (over 2000) of open sip transactions. All of type OPTIONS, and all
of them to one problematic peer
   - Multiple debug messages (about 10 per second) like this one: [Apr 14
   21:17:27] DEBUG res_config_pgsql.c: 1Postgresql RealTime: Result=0xb410e648
Query: SELECT * FROM asterisksipapp WHERE name = 'peer-name' AND host =
   'dynamic'
   - Using Wireshark, I noticed that Asterisk was sending endless SIP
OPTIONS messages (over 200/s) to one peer, *at two different IP addresses
   *.

It seems that the problematic peer had two IP addresses, and Asterisk was
sending to both of them at very high rates.
I also noticed that at first the peer had trouble staying connected
(possibly wifi network issues) and kept on registering from different ports.

I think this is related to bug 0013383, but in my case rtcachefriends=yes

Any advice?

Thanks,
Dan
