[asterisk-dev] Max Conference slaves for a master in chan_zap/chan_dahdi.c

Hi,
I was trying to understand the chan_zap/chan_dahdi conference related code.

I was not able to understand the need for 4 slaves of a master  (defined #define MAX_SLAVES 4 in chan_zap/chan_dahdi.c) 

Well I understand the no. of  slaves are at most 2 in case of three party conferencing.

Could someone plz. help me to understand the need for more then 2 slaves for a master.
