I want to ask help from the community. I have boxes with 1.4, 1.6.2, etc. I
noticed a 100% CPU issue in all versions, when updating to the latest SVN
version. It would stay in 200% (2 cpus) even with no calls. I opened a bug
(http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=14723 ) where I posted a GDB trace, this
way:
Compiled with no-optimize and debug-threads.
ps axum -C asterisk then wrote down the PID with all the CPU
then I typed:
gdb /usr/sbin/asterisk PID
and I did bt, bt full and thread apply all bt.
I posted the results in the bug but so far nobody has come up with either a
solution or a workaround. I was forced to go back to version
SVN-branch-1.4-r168975, which does not have the bug.
I will appreciate any insight into this. We cannot continue developing new
features until Asterisk is back to normal.
