[Asterisk-Dev] Sip Invite in application

Hi there,

i would like to write an application to fetch the Username
of the ProxyAuth Header field in SIP INVITE Message.

Is there a way to get access to the sip_request struct 
out off an application?

Actually a wrote a small funktion in chan_sip.c
to fetch the Username and set it as pbx_builtin_set_var.
But i would like to add this Feature to a small to app
to not changing the chan_sip code.
